.41 Long Colt (Handloader issue #351)
Warning! A Colt Single Action Army (made in 1901) with a 5½ inch-barrel was used to test all loads using a Colt SAA mount in a Ransom Pistol Machine Rest. All handloads fired for accuracy were assembled with Lyman sizing die, Lyman case mouth belling die and Redding seating and crimping die. All bullets were cast by Mike from 1:20 tin-to-lead alloy. All cases were made by Starline and were lubed with DGL. Of the moulds used, Rapine mould No. 386195 company is defunct; Lyman mould No. 386178 has been discontinued since the 1970s and MP Molds No. 41LC-200 grain is currently manufactured.
